The Grampian Practice Nurse Group met recently where the topic was 'Leg Ulcers'.   The following courses are due to run at RGU:

• Extended Nurse Prescribing - end of September 2004
• Minor Illness - 9th and 10th September and 6th December
• NRTC COPD course - awaiting dates for the end of the year

There is currently a pilot project at one of the practices in Aberdeen where there is a mentor for new PNs who attended training for this role.
