The prevalence of Coronary Heart Disease is known to be high in Britain, and Coronoary Heart Disease is one of the biggest causes of illness and death in Scotland. Poor diet, smoking and lack of exercise have been recognised as serious health risks, and the development of the disease can be influenced through lifestyle changes.
The focus of this conference is on the prevention of Coronary Heart Disease and many distinguished clinicians and researchers have agreed to take part. You will hear the latest scientific findings as well as information and ideas, which can be applied in practice.
The conference is being run by the Division of Developmental Medicine at the University of Glasgow. Registration will be from 9.15 - 10.00 am and the day will finish at 4.15 pm. The delegate cost for the day is £110.00
