General Practice Nurse Trainer Course

Venue: The Lister, Hill Square, Edinburgh

This course ran successfully for the first time last year and was well received.   It is supported by the Department of General Practice and runs in association with NHS Education Scotland.   The aim of the course is to encourage experienced PNs to become trainers to registered nurses who wish to enter General Practice and require an introductory work based course to attain proficiency.   Participants for the course will be selected from all areas of Scotland.   The course is supported by a grant from the Department of General Practice, SE Scotland, offering locum fees and other expenses.
