The Autism Training Accreditation Project

The Scottish Society for Autism &The National Centre for Autism Studies (The University of Strathclyde) have been funded by the Scottish Executive to jointly develop a national system of accreditation for Autism Training.

The project has 3 key strands:

The accreditation of training providers –both individual and organisations

The accreditation of training materials & packages

The accreditation of individual portfolios of training related to ASD

We are currently conducting a series of consultation events in order to inform the development of the accreditation system.

We are keen to engage with:

Training providers

Training Purchasers

Individuals with ASD, their families and carers.

Consultations will be held on the following dates and locations for areas across Scotland. If you do not see your specific area please be assured that you will be more than welcome and you should select the date and location that best suits your needs.
