Agenda For Change
Earlier this year the SPNA raised concerns regarding the potential impact of Practice Nurses being excluded from Agenda for Change and we asked Practice Nurses to add their signature to a statement to make the Scottish Executive aware of our concern. We received over 300 signatures and have since being working with Michael Proctor, Primary Care Development Manager/Nursing Officer, from the Scottish Executive Health Department. Because of our concerns a meeting took place along with other interested parties at St Andrews House on 9th September. The SPNA Chairperson, Anne Cooper, attended this meeting to look at the possible development of a Framework for Nursing in General Practice.
