SPNA Annual Conference 2017

The 2017 conference took place at the Station Hotel, Perth on Wednesday 17 May.  Around 95 GPNs from across Scotland attended the day, with a full and varied agenda, topics this year included:

Asthma guidelines with Dr Thomas Fardon

Chronic disease management, minor illness and minor injuries and mental health update from NB Medical

Women’s health update by Kay McAlliser

A mindfulness session lead by Tina Gilbert

As well as QNiS Long Service Award presentations being made to

Joyce Alfrod, Beverley Birnie, Lorna Dhami, Paual McKenna, Caroline McRae, Clare Miller, Joanne Roelich, Lillian Stewart, Allison Tait and Andrea Davidson.

Congratulations to all of the above.

Delegate feedback included:

Plans are underway for the 2018 conference which will take place on Wednesday 23 May, get the date in your diaries now.
