Benefits of Membership

Bringing together members from across Scotland and facilitating better communication - we continute to update our website and still have a 'members only area' which will contain an information hub where you can come to find out information on a wide range of topics related to Practice Nursing.   The website has a forum to enable discussion.

Representing the views of Practice Nurses at Government and Executive level - we are already around a number of tables as equals in the decision making and influencing processess but our hand would be further strengthened by being able to talk on behalf of a much larger number of Practice Nurses.   We have an oportunity here that we should use.

Working hard to professionalise Practice Nursing - we want to look at how we might best ensure that membership of the SPNA clearly equates to a Practice Nurse who is most interested in developing the quality of the patient care they can personally provide and one who is seen to be lending their support to pushing forward the issues that challenge Practice Nurses across Scotland.

The more members we have - the more we are representative
and the more we will be listened to.
